"Far too often, I find students approaching science as a test subject; to take what they learn on faith without truly appreciating the power of science. Rather than telling students that atoms bond, I'd much rather help them discover why they seek stability. I prefer starting from the smallest unit of knowledge to build a firm foundation, and to cultivate curiosity in the habit of asking the simplest of questions: "why?"
